Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates in the early part of the 20th century. His method of exercise was designed to engage the mind and body in developing deep torso strength and strong, flexible muscles by using a range of apparatuses that guided and trained the body. In the 1980s, the STOTT PILATES® method was developed to incorporate current scientific and biomechanical research and is continually refined by its co-founders in collaboration with physical therapists, sports medicine and fitness professionals.

STOTT PILATES® is one of the safest and most effective programs available and it comprises hundreds of exercises which allow workouts to be customized to meet individual needs. Group Mat Classes

Pilates Essential Mat
45 minutes
Learn the five basic principles of the STOTT PILATES® method in over 35 mat exercises with hundreds of variations. If you’re new to Pilates, this is the place to begin.

Pilates Intermediate Mat
45 minutes
Building on the Essential Mat class, this class moves at a quicker pace and will introduce intermediate progressions of the exercises. Recommended for those with Pilates experience.

Pilates Reformer Classes view calendar

Beginner
55 minutes
Get started learning to use the reformer in a fun group class!  You’ll be glad you found this new way to exercise plus you’ll begin to see changes in your body!

Intermediate
55 minutes
This level will take you through a dynamic, full-body workout that focuses on improving flexibility and core strength with exercises that stretch and tone all muscle groups.

Booty Buster
55 minutes
A fun class with a quick pace that includes many Pilates reformer and chair exercises with an emphasis on glutes and legs.

Pilates for the Athlete
55 minutes
A strong core can help athletes of all levels in all sports. This class is tailored to the athlete to keep them injury free by providing exercises that emphasises core strength, joint stability, flexibility, coordination and balance all in a challenging environment.

Pilates Power Circuit
55 minutes
This fast-paced class includes heavier springs, more repetitions and some circuits for an intense and effective full-body workout.

Cardio Pilates
55 minutes
This class takes Pilates to a new level by focusing on getting your heart rate up! You will get a great core workout while getting your cardio exercise!

$275 members
$330 non-members

Classes require a minimum of four participants. Get a friend or two to join you! For members, a non-refundable $75 deposit will hold your place in your preferred class. There are no refunds or make-up classes for missed classes. Pro-rating is available for late starts and for medical reasons with physician’s note. New students are required to take private Pilates Reformer classes before beginning Group Reformer Classes. No classes December 19 – 30.
